1. The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks
First off the movie was great so i have wanted to the read the book since. Nicholas Sparks has written lots of teen books and is a great writer. Some reviews say this is some of his best work. Most people think this is a girl book but there is also war and violence in it.
2.Pretties by Scott Westerfield
This is the second book in the Uglies series by Scott Westerfield. It's based a world where everyone looks the same and some kids some kids don't want to be that way. The back of the book tells a little about these kids story and what they go through everyday in a society where everyone wants them to be the same.
3. Uglies by Scott Westerfield
The first book in the Uglies series. This book introduces you to the world of surgery after birth that corrects all defects and makes everyone look the same. This is about a group of kids who want to be different from all those other people. This book introduces the sequel.
4. Graves End by Mercado
Ive heared a little about this book and amazon.com they rate it pretty good. Its also on Mrs.Picketts shelf so it must be good.Ive never heared of the author but sometimes not well known authors produce the best books. This is supposed to be a horror or suspense book.
5. The Host by Stephanie Meyer
This book is a love story, but not like Stepahie Meyer's other books like the Twilight series. Stephanie Meyer is a very well known writer and her books are always long, good and a love story.
Amazon.com ranks this book very highly and its a pretty recent book and it's for teens so I should like it
6. Crank by Ellen Hopkins
This book is one of Ellen Hopkins first books. It's about as drug similar to crystal meth and how it takes over and controls peoples lives. It's the first book in a triliogy about the beginnings of these kids lives and how they get hooked on crank and their life falls apart.
7. Identical by Ellen Hopkins
This is a story from Ellen Hopkins about 2 twin teenage girls with a judge father and a political leader mother. The twins both have their secrets about themselves and each other, just waiting for the right time to spill. The ending will leave you speechless.
8. The Blind Side by Micheal Lewis
I've seen the movie so i believe the book will be amazing. It's kind of a story about rags to riches Micheal Orr and his journey from being homeless to being adopted by the Collins family and his draft into the NFL. It also tells some background on Micheal and the Collins family.
9. Bringing Adam home by Les Stadiford
I believe that everyone has heared or seen about Adam Walsh on tv. or somewhere. The investigation has finally been closed and the murderer found so they are releasing the book. This book is supposed to have alot of behind the scenes about the trial and evidence form the case.
10. Total Access a Journey to The Center of The NFL Universe by Rich Elsen
Rich Elsen is the host of NFL Total Access on the NFL network. He seems very smart to me and should be intelligent enough to write a book about sports for young adults. I Think this book will reflect his knowledge and this book will be detailed book about the NFL.
